All too often, youth feel they have limited options for how they live life now, and will in their future. I will advocate for policies and programs that focus on bringing more choices and opportunities to students and parents.

• I will listen to students, families, and educators to ensure that their voices are represented on School Committee, particularly in regards to resource allocation and administrator evaluations.

  • I will hold regular listening sessions for students, parents, and educators of District 1.

• I will also work to strengthen communication between Lowell Public Schools and institutions of higher education, businesses, and nonprofits to build a strong foundation of networks for the future leaders of Lowell.

  • For example, promoting mentorship programs with partnering institutions to increase our youths’ social capital and network.
